Contact lenses are evolving. Coming soon to a place near you are the latest breakthroughs in technology. Contact lenses that actually change from light to dark to protect you from glare and the UV rays of the sun! This is a real innovation, for as you may know contact lenses tend to increase glare sensitivity.

We are excited that this is soon to come into being. Also the use of contact lenses to treat diseases such as glaucoma is also a soon to be.

The photochromic contact lenses are designed with a  polymer that is laced with an intricate network of micro tunnels that can be filled with dyes. Early studies show that these lenses get darker faster than transitions sunglasses presently on the market.
